Future is RFID - True or False ?

I would say it is true. RFID [Radio Frquency Identification] is truely a hot topic today and will be future for atleast next 5 years. Ofcourse, in the race you have Satellite Tracking[GPS] but due to its implementation and development cost, RFID is immediate future.

If technology grows rapidally and if someday satellite tracking becomes cheap then nothing can beat that. But right now, solution is RFID.

But still we face lack of knowledge and resources for RFID. You post a job on RFID and you don't have enough people. Many companies are investing lot on training for RFID but it will take time to get into this technology. It is ofcourse a hot selling market and if you can provide details about what are the benefits of RFID then you can sell it.

Next Week, i will discuss RFID benefits and what solution suits best in which industry. Actually, if you think then RFID can fit in any industry with some pros and cons. However, major issue with RFID is privacy problems which we will discuss in coming few days.
